ApplicationsAldehyde dehydrogenase inhibitor.
Daidzin: A potent, selective inhibitor of human mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase.
Daidzin selectively suppresses ethanol intake in all rodent models tested. It also inhibits mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH-2).
