| Applications | 3-(N-Maleimido)propionate Thiamine is modified vitamin B1 maleimide. Thiamine (T344185) is a cofactor in carbohydrate metabolism. Deficiency in thiamine leads to many diseases including beriberi, Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (damage to the brain and central nervous system), and Alzheimer. In addition, thiamine is useful in metabolism research related to nutrient-sensitized drug screening. |
